Tired of Working and Doing House Work? Move to the Philippines!

Are you tired of your hectic schedule?  Wake up, prepare breakfast, wake up the kids, drop them off at school, rush off to work, pick up the kids, drive home, cook dinner, etc., etc. and then the same routine tomorrow...

That's tiring.  Now think about this.  Wake up and head over to your breakfast table where your coffee is freshly brewed and waiting for you.  The kids have all been dressed and breakfast had already been prepared for them.  The chauffer is waiting by the door for the kids to hop on into the car and dropped off at school.  The chauffer then drives back to pick you up to take you to work.

Yes, that is possible and that is a way of life in the Philippines. Many households have a housekeeper and a driver.  How much does this cost?  About US$250.00 per month.

The Philippine government has been attracting investors with the introduction of the Special Visa for Employment Generation (SVEG).  Under EO 758, foreigners who shall actually employ at least 10 Filipinos in a lawful and sustainable enterprise, trade or industry are qualified for the SVEG. Qualified foreigners who are granted the SVEG shall be considered special nonimmigrants with multiple-entry privileges and conditional extended stay, without need of prior departure from the Philippines. The SVEG privileges may extend to the qualified foreigner’s spouse and dependent unmarried children below 18 years of age, whether legitimate, illegitimate or adopted.
